MICHELLE BARTUS, V.M.D. has been a veterinarian since 1984 when she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. B is pictured with Dr. Nelson, her husband and co-practitioner for 24 years. They purchased the practice from Dr. Bartus' late father, Dr. Frank Bartus. |

PETER D. NELSON, M.S., V.M.D., co-owner of the practice, and the husband of Dr. Bartus. He obtained both a Master's Degree in Parasitology and his Doctorate Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984. He is pictured here with their Rat Terrier, Andy.

National K-9 School for Dog Trainers. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Special & Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University in 1994. She is pictured here with her 9 year old English Setter, "Max". Laurie leads an on-site Puppy Pre-School Class on Wednesday nights, in conjunction with scheduled obedience training either on or off site. |

"Tinkerbell" is sure to make your day. If you're sitting in the waiting room, she'll be on your lap and cuddled up before you can say "hello!" |

Grumpy Amazon Parrot

"Grumpy" is a Double Yellow Headed Amazon Parrot who talks only when she feels like it (usually at night!) Grumpy particularly loves Judy and often spends long weekends at her home. If you hear a strange "Meow", "Hello", "Here kitty, kitty?!" or piercing scream, it's probably her. |

"Gracie" is Dr. Bartus and Dr. Nelson's Golden Retriever. She was trained by Chris, our Certified Master Dog Trainer. Not only does she entertain in the waiting room, she also is a great role model for all of the puppies who attend our Puppy Pre-School! |
